Mounting aid for meter plug pins
The invention relates to an assembly aid for meter pins according to the preamble of claim 1. Meter pins are used as a conductive connection between a power meter and a terminal. As the electricity meter, a measuring device integrating a course over time is designated for detecting the amount of consumed electrical variable. Preferably, the term current meter (also electricity meter, automatic circuit breaker or Verbrauchszäh¬ler) is used for devices with which electrical active power over time is summed, whereby electrical energy is measured. The physically correct term is therefore an energy meter. Such energy meters are offered, for example, by the companies Landis + Gyr, EMH, Siemens, or Echelon.
In addition to the usual household electricity meters for 10 (60) A, electricity meters for 100 A are used for commercial use (including construction sites, festive events). These direct measuring meters are designed for the rated voltage 230 V (equivalent to 400 V between the outer conductors).
The electricity meter is usually installed in the house on a so-called meter panel or in a meter cabinet. For these meter cabinets there is the technical connection condition (TAB) of the respective energy supplier. For the installation of the electricity meter in the area of the meter cabinet Stecker¬ pins are used, which conductively connect the electricity meter with the designated Zähl¬ Steckklemme (terminal). The meter pins are either for AC or three-phase use and are preferably cylindrically shaped.
When mounting the electricity meter in the meter cabinet previously Ste Steckerstifte were mounted in the electricity meter and then the Stromzähler zusam¬men plugged with the pre-assembled pins on the already existing in the meter cabinet counter plug terminal. The disadvantage here is that the plug pins already used in the electricity meter do not exactly match the corresponding openings of the meter plug terminal. With regard to the orientation of the plug pins, there are deviations in both the vertical and in the horizontal direction. Furthermore, the power meter and the terminal have manufacturing tolerances, which also makes it difficult to easily install the electricity meter.
Furthermore, the electricity meters of the different manufacturers have different plug pin distances, so that they do not fit into the associated connection power. With a poorly or incorrectly plugged electricity meter on the terminal strip, with currents of up to 100 amps, this represents a high hazard potential.
Another disadvantage is that on site a fitter must spend up to 10 minutes to align the pins of the electricity meter to the An¬ connection strip.
Furthermore, there is the disadvantage that the electricity meter, in particular the new Smart Meter, has to be serviced or calibrated every 5 years and, after successful maintenance of the meter, must be correctly re-installed in the fuse distribution box. This results in high assembly times, since the plug pins are removed for servicing the electricity meter and then have to be re-used. In the subsequent assembly of the electricity meter then the respective slots are not always placed fitting on the An¬schlußklemmen.
In particular, legislation dictates that the power meter be flush mounted to the terminal block and that there be some distance between both components so that, for example, a finger finger can be placed on the meter pins. This makes it particularly important to position the electricity meter with (IVU) flush with the respective terminal strip or to position it flush on the terminal block.
The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a device with which an electric meter can be safely and accurately positioned on the respective connection terminals.
To achieve the object, the invention by the technical Lehreder claims 1, 2 and 8 is characterized.
An essential feature of the invention is that the meter plug pins are positioned in a mounting aid, which aligns the meter plug pins in a Ras¬termaß. The grid dimension is in this case defined so that the montagehil¬feseitigen openings coincides with the distance of the power meter-side opening and with the distance of the connection terminal side opening.
By using a mounting aid, it is now possible to position the pin within the power meter, which can be done easily mounting the electricity meter on the terminal. Thus, targeted alignment of the plug pins for mounting the power meter on the terminal takes place. The mounting aid serves as alignment gauge.
In a first embodiment, the mounting aid is rectangular and has on at least one surface at least one profiled opening into which the at least one plug pin can be received. The opening is formed such that the connector pin is received aligned in a predefined vertical and horizontal position. The position of the opening for the plug pins corresponds to the pitch which is specifically matched to the respective predefined openings of the power meter or connection terminals.
In a preferred embodiment, the mounting aid has a total of seven openings for the meter plug pins, which are aligned in the vertical and horizontal directions, so that a correct positioning or Installati¬on of the plug pins within the electricity meter is possible.
The fixation and proper orientation of the plug pin takes place by Formschluss. The arrangement of a spring and a ball within the mounting aid a non-positively releasable fixation is achieved. Subsequent assembly of the connector pins within the electricity meter, the mounting aid can be solved without much effort.
In a further embodiment, the fixing of the plug pins within the assembly aid can additionally take place by means of at least one screw connection. Furthermore, a clamping of the connector pins is possible.
The openings for the plug pins are preferably arranged on a side surface extending in the longitudinal axis in the case of a mounting aid formed at a right angle. Of course, the openings can also be arranged at any other point or surface of the mounting aid. The decisive factor is that the surface of the assembly aid comes into contact with the inserted counter connector pins when inserted into the terminal strip of the electricity meter, with a surface of the terminal strip and / or of the electricity meter.
Due to the design of the assembly aid and the predefined plug positions according to a grid dimension, the plug pins can be selectively positioned in the connection lead.
In a further preferred embodiment, the mounting aid has at least two surfaces openings with different grid dimensions. This allows mounting of the connector pins for two different power meter or terminal.
The mounting aid is preferably made of a metallic material. However, other materials, e.g. Plastic or wood also possible.
The following method steps result with the mounting aid essential to the invention: 1. The at least one meter plug is inserted into the respective opening of the mounting aid up to the stop and thereby aligned both horizontally and vertically.
In an advantageous embodiment, the plug pin is fixed in the mounting aid releasably and is thereby temporarily secured within the mounting aid. 2. The assembly aid is then inserted with exact position into the power supply of the electricity meter.
The assembly aid is preferably pushed into the terminal block of the electricity meter until at least one surface of the assembly aid and at least one surface of the electricity meter touch each other. This represents a hori¬ zontale positioning of the meter pins within the electricity meter si¬cher. 3. Fixing the pins inside the terminal block of the electricity meter.
The fixation takes place, for example, with screws arranged in the connection strip, so that the plug pins are fixedly arranged inside the connection strip in the area of the electricity meter. 4. Release the connector pins on the mounting aid.
Due to the preferred spring-loaded clamping of the plug pins within the mounting aid, it can only be deducted after fixing the pins in the An¬ connection strip of the electricity meter. The force of the spring, which holds the meter pins within the mounting aid, is here be¬vorzugt adjustable.
After the plug-in operation of the meter pins within the Stromzäh¬lers and successful withdrawal of the assembly aid, are now the Zähl¬ pins free and are ready for further mounting with the meter connection terminal.
A significant advantage results from the fact that the meter terminal clamp is mounted in the fuse box and the electricity meter can now be mounted together with the already positioned pins on the already fixed terminal. By previously accurately positioning the pins in both horizontal and vertical directions, it is now possible with the invention for the first time to ensure accurate and secure positioning or accurate and secure connection of the power meter within the fuse box to the terminal.
A further advantage results from the fact that the previous precise positioning of the plug pins within the electricity meter results in a substantial time saving since the positioning of the meter plug pins can already be carried out during the new installation or during maintenance. This does not result in high assembly costs or assembly times on the construction site or in the area of the fuse box.
Characterized in that the mounting aid has the same pitch, as the stromzähler¬seitigen openings and the connection-side openings, the plug pins are aligned within the electricity meter the same so that a trouble-free mounting of the electricity meter takes place on the terminal.
As a pitch, the present application understands the horizontal distance of the pin pin openings, as well as the vertical distance of the Steckerstiftöffnun¬gen. In addition, the grid can still specify the insertion depth of the plug pins within the openings (vertical distance).
The subject of the present invention results not only from the subject matter of the individual claims, but also from the combination of the individual claims with each other.
All the details and features disclosed in the documents, including the abstract, in particular the physical formation illustrated in the drawings, are claimed to be essential to the invention insofar as they are novel or in combination with the prior art.
In the following the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to several Ausführungswegedarstellenden drawings. Here are the Zeichnun¬gen and its description further essential to the invention features and advantages of the invention.

FIG. 1 shows the assembly aid 1 according to the invention in plan view. The mounting aid 1 consists essentially of a housing 27 which has at least one profiled opening 6 for a plug pin 2 on at least one surface. According to FIG. 1, the assembly aid has 1 (counting) plug pins 2, which are arranged within the assembly aid 1. The plug pins 2 have a rectangular, round or elliptical design. However, they can also have a round or angular or hexagonal shape. However, the present invention is not limited to this form. Rather, the plug pins 2 may be in any geometric shape. It is crucial that the profile of the mounting auxiliary opening 6 is adapted to the profile of the plug pin 2.
According to FIG. 1, seven plug pins 2 are arranged within the assembly aid 1. The plug pins 2 are in this case arranged within the mounting aid 1 in such a way that they project out of the mounting aid 1 with a spacing 3 in a vertical orientation. The distance 3 of the plug pins 2 results somitzwischen the free end of the plug pin 2 and the mating surface 8 and derSeitenfläche 14 on the mounting aid. 1
In a preferred embodiment, the mounting aid 1 is inserted into a current meter 14 in such a way that the plug surface 8 rests flush against the connection openings 16.
From Figure 1 also shows that the plug pins 2 are spaced within the Monta¬ mate 1 by a horizontal distance 4. The distance 4gibt between the central axes 5 of the plug pins 2, wherein the Mittelach¬sen equal to the longitudinal axis arise.
With the assembly aid 1 according to the invention, it is therefore possible for the first time to position the plug pins 2 both horizontally 3 and vertically 4 within the assembly aid.
According to a first embodiment, which is represented by the figure 1, the plug pins 2 are arranged with a regular horizontal distance 4 within the mounting aid 1. However, the invention is not limited to this, since the distances 4 can also deviate from one another, so that a different distance 4 exists between the first two plug pins 2, for example, while a different distance 4 can be provided between the last two plug pins 2 along the horizontal extent.
Due to the particular arrangement of the plug pins 2 in the mounting aid 1, it is now possible for the first time to precisely position the plug pins 2 for the respective manufacturer-specific connection strip 15 within the current meter 14.
FIG. 2 shows a side view of the assembly aid 1 according to the invention. The plug pin 2 is positioned within the assembly aid 1 so that it is at the distance 3 on the mating surface 8 or the surface 18 of the An¬ 15 and thus a positionally accurate positioning takes place within the mounting aid 1.
FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of the assembly aid 1 according to the invention, the mounting aid 1 having plug pins 2 already positioned on one side surface, while further openings 6 are provided on the opposite side, into which further plug pins 2 can be inserted ,
By means of the mounting aid 1 according to the invention, it is now possible for the first time to provide, for example, one plug pin arrangement for one particular manufacturer on one side, while on the opposite side
Side is given a different arrangement of the plug pins 2 in the horizontal and vertical direction, so that the mounting aid 1 can be applied to at least two manufacturers of electricity meters 14.
From the figure 3 also shows the distance 7, which is formed between the Mit¬telachse the openings 6.
Referring to Figs. 1, 2 and 3, fixed openings 6 for the male pins are provided. In a further preferred embodiment, however, these openings 6 can be changed by mechanical means, such as a screw connection or a displaceable connection, so that they can be aligned with the respective manufacturer-specific plug connection of the electricity meter.
The invention is therefore not limited to a fixed arrangement of openings 6, but rather claims protection for a variable arrangement of different openings 6 for the company-specific insertion of plug pins within an electricity meter.
4 shows a section through the mounting aid 1 is shown. The plug pins 2 are hereby arranged in openings 6, which are located on a side surface 12 of the mounting aid 1.
On the opposite side of the side surface 12 there are further openings 6, which for example have a different horizontal spacing 4. This makes it possible with only one mounting aid 1 connector pins 2 inunterschiedliche terminal strips 15 of electricity meters 14 to position.
Furthermore, it is possible for apertures 6 to be arranged on an end face 13 of the mounting aid 1 which receive plug pins 2 with a positive fit.
With the figure 4 it is further shown that at least one element 9 is disposed within the assembly aid 1, which exerts a pressure on the inserted pin 2 via a ball 10. The element 9 is hereby preferably elastic and may, for example, be a spring.
In a preferred embodiment, the spring strength of the spring (element 9) can be adjusted via a screwable cover 11.
Of course, the present invention is not limited to a Ausführungs¬form with a ball 10. The applied force of the elastic element 9 can be transmitted to the pin 2 with any element.
According to FIG. 4, the plug pin 2 is inserted in the openings 6 of the assembly aid 1 as far as a predefined stop 24. The defined stop 24 thus allows the vertical distance 3 between the side surface 12 and the free end of the plug pin 2 to be defined. This distance 3 is crucial for the accurate assembly of the plug pins 2 within the An¬ 15 of the power meter 14. The stopper 24 thus serves to limit the insertion depth of the plug pin 2 in the assembly aid. 1
Furthermore, the openings 6 are spaced by a defined horizontal distance 4, which coincides with the spacing of the openings 16 in the terminal strip 15. The horizontal distance 4 results from the longitudinal axis 5 of the plug pin 2.
The following figures 5 to 10 show an assembly procedure with the Montagehil¬fe 1. With the figure 5, the plug pins 2 are inserted into the respective openings 6 on the other side surface 12 of the mounting aid 1. The plug pins 2 are pushed into the mounting aid 1 as far as the stop 26. At the same time, the spring-loaded ball 10 acts on the plug pin 2 and holds it inside the assembly aid 1.
The assembly aid 1 with the inserted plug pins 2 is then shown in FIG. 6 in the direction of the arrow 17 to the terminal block 15 of the electricity meter 14. The predetermined opening positions 6 of the mounting aid 1 are aligned in alignment with the openings 16 of the terminal block 15 so that a simple insertion of the total of seven plug pins 2 in the openings 16 is possible.
In a preferred embodiment, the mounting aid 1 is pushed so far in Pfeil¬ direction 17 to the terminal block 15 zoom that the surfaces 18 of the terminal block 15 and the surface 12 of the assembly aid 2 are in contact. By the contact of the two surfaces 15 and 18 is ensured in that the plug pins 2 are securely and far enough positioned in the terminal block 15.
FIG. 7 shows the pin pins 2 already inserted in the terminal block 15. These can now be fixed with the aid of a Befestigungsvorrich¬ 20 within the terminal block 15. As fastening device 20, a screw connection is preferably used.
Figure 8 shows the removal operation of the mounting aid 1 in the direction of arrow 19. Da¬durch that the connector pins 2 spring loaded within the mounting aid 1 are held, the retaining spring force must be overcome during removal, so that the mounting aid 1 is removable from the terminal block 15 of the Stromzählers14.
FIG. 9 shows the plugging operation of the electricity meter 14 on the connection terminal 21. By aligning the plug pins 2 in the horizontal and vertical direction with the mounting aid 1, a precise positioning of the fixed connector pins 2 takes place in the terminal 21. The connection terminal 21 has for this purpose openings 22, which are aligned in alignment with the openings 20 of the terminal block 15. During plug-in operation of the current counter 14 in the direction of arrow 19 on the terminal 21, the plug pins 2 are thus in an aligned alignment, whereby a secure and error-free plugging is achieved.
FIG. 10 also shows the fixing of the plug pins 2 in the connection terminal 21 with a fastening device 23. For fixing, a screw connection is preferably used.
With the mounting aid 1, it is thus possible for the first time to achieve a secure plugging operation of the electricity meter 14 on the connection terminal 21. This is achieved, in particular, by temporarily inserting the plug pins 2 into a mounting aid 1 having predefined openings 6, which are designed such that an aligned alignment between the openings 20 of the terminal block 15 and the openings 22 of the connection terminal 21 is achieved.
The distance 7 of the openings 6 on the mounting aid is thus the same as the distance 26 of the opening 16 on the terminal block 15 and the distance 25 at the opening 22 of the terminal 21. At a distance, the present application means both a horizontal orientation, as well as a vertical orientation.
